About
The purpose of the Victor Adebodun Foundation mentoring scheme is to connect rising talent with industry professionals, to give them insight into the inner workings of the media industry. Victor spent a lot of his time mentoring people at different stages of their career. The first phase of the foundation will seek to mirror this, by offering rising talent the opportunity to connect with industry professionals; to give them insight into the inner workings of the media industry.
What is mentoring?
Mentoring is a semi structured relationship designed to help people build confidence and provide support, so that they are able to take control of their own development and career, by way of the mentor sharing their knowledge, skills and experience.

Mentoring can be for anyone at any point in their working life. The Victor Adebodun scheme is primarily for up and coming Black talent from African and Caribbean backgrounds, who dream of getting into the film and television industry but don’t have access to the network or the opportunity.
